Community Action of Minneapolis sponsors LIHEAP Action Day 2012

 Wednesday, February 15, 2012 is the 10th Anniversary of LIHEAP Action Day. LIHEAP Action Day is organized annually by the National Fuel Funds Network (NFFN) and is held in Washington D.C.

LIHEAP is The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. It provides financial assistance for heating and cooling bills to eligible households.

Let’s send a message to our elected officials in Washington, DC about the importance of LIHEAP funding for low-income families. Join Community Action of Minneapolis at its Minneapolis LIHEAP Action Day Rally, Wednesday, February 15, 2012, 12:00 noon at 2104 Park Avenue.

COME OUT and advocate for full funding of LIHEAP! COME OUT and help us deliver a message to Washington and tell our elected officials to provide $5.1 billion in funding needed for LIHEAP. 

Can’t come to the rally? Contact a member of the Minnesota Congressional Delegation on LIHEAP Action Day and ask them to continue to advocate for full funding for LIHEAP.
