The Self Sufficiency Program is designed to help low-income families rise out of poverty. Our family development model requires one-on-one meetings with families to develop goals, manage finances, and provide support and assistance. Our program helps to educate and work closely with families to make changes in their lives that will help them become more self-sufficient.
The Self-Sufficiency program matches families with a CA of Minneapolis Family Services Coordinator. These coordinators work directly with families to provide them with opportunities to develop new skills to improve different areas of their life. This program has a strong history of success and has led to many families becoming self-sufficient.
