Direct-Service Volunteers

Community Action of Minneapolis seeks to engage community members; church, civic, school and social groups; and corporate entities. Volunteer opportunities may be short-term, such as one-time projects or special events. We also have ongoing, long-term opportunities that require a minimum commitment of 100 hours. For example:

  • 3 months/8 hours per week
  • 6 months/4 hours per week

Internship opportunities are available for social work students enrolled in an accredited college or university fulfilling requirements for a field placement or practicum.

We would be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the volunteer program at Community Action of Minneapolis. For more information, contact Wanda N. Walker at (612) 334-3672 or volunteer@campls.org.
