Children Family & Development is pleased to announce the implementation of the Family Stabilization Program. The program will begin operating on October 1st, 2009.
The Family Stabilization Program (FSP) provides a one-time, short-term financial assistance to Minneapolis families in crisis when no other funds are available in order to maintain stability.
Are you in need of temporary assistance with food, rent/mortgage, or car repair (mechanical and safety only), etc.?
If you answered YES and you:
- Are a Minneapolis resident for the past 90 days.
- Are 21 years of age or older with a valid Minnesota identification.
- Are Able to verify your household income for the past 90 days.
- Are Able to document your need.
- Have accessed/applied to use Hennepin County Emergency Assistance within the past year.
Then you may be eligible for assistance.
Key Messages We Need for You to Know
Assistance is a one-time opportunity. Funding is for crisis which cannot be resolved any other way. Request for assistance must be documented and brought to the appointment.
Program will run until funds are exhausted.
